Sylvester, wearing a hat and a sly grin and carrying a 'Cable Repair Service' toolkit, rings the doorbell on Tweety's cage. Tweety relaxes on an easy chair, remote control in hand, while watching, appropriately, Looney Tunes cartoons on TV.

Tofu Tweety

Credits

Synopsis

Sylvester gets yet another painful lesson from Granny about not eating Tweety, especially since he must not be a bad example for Cuddles, a relatives's cat that is staying with them. Sylvester falls for Cuddles at first sight and tries to make a gift of Tweety. He's quite surprised to discover that Cuddles is not only a vegetarian, but a rather militant one. The resulting blows to Sylvester, from another cat no less, are much to Tweety's amusement.

As there will be no eating of any meat, Cuddles tries to get Sylvester interested in her vegetarian dishes. Both Sylvester and Hubie and Bertie find the result unappetizing. Unsatisfied with supper, Sylvester hunts Tweety after bedtime, only to be foiled yet again by Cuddles. The next day as Sylvester schemes to find a way to get real food he's surprised to be offered a baked Tweety by Cuddles. He gobbles the bird in an instant only to be startled by Tweety. Sylvester's joy ends when he finds out the bird he ate was actually tofu.

Sylvester tries hunting again, having taken the precaution of plugging Cuddles' ears as she naps. He catches Tweety only to have Granny return at that moment. Thinking fast, he shoves Tweety into the sleeping Cuddles' mouth, so Granny sees her as trying to eat the bird. Granny shoos Cuddles out. Sylvester also leaves the house when Granny says she's going to make a certain vegetarian dish.

Next Sam sets Bugs up with a ball that is really a bomb, with glue. Bugs grips the ball wrong, which upsets Sam into showing the proper method. As Bugs takes notes, Sam shows the correct method for a bowling throw, only to realize too late that he's going be the victim of his own scheme. Tanks But No Tanks

Credits

Synopsis

Wile E. Coyote has parts to assemble into a tank as well as a plan to use the tank to catch Road Runner. Soon the coyote is using his tank, but the bridge he tries to cross gives out. Incredibly, the tank survives and scales right up the cliff, much to Road Runner's surprise.

In an unusual move, Road Runner sets a trap, offering free cannon balls rather than free birdseed. Wile E. is surprised when the tank has a mind of its own and stops to suck up the cannon balls. He is pleased, however, when he and the tank survive rocks dropping on them. Road Runner is even more surprised and tries again, this time with a tunnel painted onto rock. Once more the bird is shocked when the coyote simply drives his tank right through the rock, making his own real tunnel.

Now Road Runner builds up a tank, adding a wig and markings to make it a female tank. The result startles both the bird and the coyote, but doesn't slow anything down. Wile E. at long last catches up to Road Runner, and fires the tank's gun. He jumps out to savor his victory, and his dinner, only to find that all the blast left of Road Runner was burnt feathers. Suddenly Wile E. Coyote awakens, still at his drawing table. He tears up his plans, lest the end of his dream come true.
