The Goofy Gophers, Mac and Tosh, huddle together on some partially eaten vegetables as a hand descends on the pair. Instead of simply fleeing, the gophers have this conversation: "Oh, dear -- Watch out, Tosh!" "I wouldn't dream of it -- after you, Mac..." "I really must insist..."
One of the Goofy Gophers returns to their underground abode with a sack of extra spicy magic beans that he found. before the gophers can get started on their plans for burritos, the active beans spring from the sack and a giant beanstalk erupts skyward. Mac and Tosh climb the beanstalk and arrive in a garden of giant vegetables, which they start eating.
A giant Elmer Fudd notices the gophers and isn't pleased. One of the gophers spits a seed at Fudd, which distracts him long enough for his shoelaces to get tied together. When the giant Elmer starts to give chase, he falls and, after an unexpected ride, ends up in a well. The giant Fudd tries to go after the gophers with his gun, but he is overcome by fumes of the garlic Mac and Tosh have been eating.
Trying a simple direct grabbing of the gophers doesn't work as Mac and Tosh run up inside Elmer's clothing, and soon Elmer ties himself into a knot. When he manages to untie himself, Fudd tries again, taking a jackhammer to a hole they jumped into. Mac and Tosh escape, but Fudd drills right through what ground he has and falls to earth. This leaves the gophers with nothing to do but eat.
Foghorn Leghorn, Barnyard Dawg, and Eggbert are in the finals of an extreme sports competition. Henery Hawk is also around, scheming to get Foghorn as his dinner. In the first event, a ski contest, Henery leaves a bowling ball on the ski course. This sends Foghorn flying right into a microwave oven and also keeps Dawg from finishing, leaving Eggbert to win by being the only one to finish the course.
The next event is a bicycle race. Foghorn and Dawg both look like possible winners, but Eggbert's bike lacks wheels. When the race starts, Eggbert sits at the start as the others race off. Henery uses a grenade to divert Foghorn into a kettle, but the grenade's explosion triggers an earthquake. The quake causes dirt to move like an ocean wave and Eggbert rides the across the finish line.
Skydiving is the final event, judged on style. Henery replaces Foghorn's parachute with a bag of spices while Eggbert puts on a wetsuit rather than a parachute, despite Foghorn's warnings. When Foghorn tries to open his chute, the spices fly up, causing Dawg to sneeze to so hard he blow himself upward where he gets caught on a passing jetliner. Foghorn crashes into Henery's waiting frying pan and the spices cover him a moment later. Eggbert splashes down in a moving truck carrying Kamu, the whale.
Daffy waits impatiently for his mail, but is annoyed by yet another jury duty notice. As he is about to argue with the mailman, a small fellow with a summons appears at Daffy's door. Daffy slams the door and blocks it by moving his fireplace(!), only for the man to appear in the fireplace. The duck bricks up that up, but the man is sitting next to him when he's finished. Daffy tries mailing the guy away and gets a nasty surprise: he's both inside the shipping and driving a taxi.
Daffy tries to seek refuge in the zoo, but is followed there. Trying to fly away doesn't work either as his pursuer appears in Egypt, Ireland, China, and Spain. Desperate to escape, the duck manages to get on a space mission. Daffy is hounded even in space. He panics and comes crashing to earth where he doesn't serve jury duty, but serves time as a prisoner instead.
