Synopsis

Bugs rests in the country... until the air is filled with the noise of a rock band. He makes quick work of a power cable and sends the band flying. The rabbit's trouble has just started as the band members confront him, including the lead singer - Taz. Bugs ends up tied to a tree, and determined to exact his revenge.

At Taz's next concert Bugs, disguised as a female fan, gets close and punches him, telling him he's selling out his art. Taz is smitten, Bugs is persistent, and the band is aghast, but Bugs ends up joining the band, or at least becomes Taz's advisor. Soon Taz is doing ever more bizarre things in his act. He hits himself with a mallet, is electrically shocked, run over by a steamroller, and blown up. Everything hurts sales and the band's record company demands a change in the act. Bugs inflicts real style changes in the band's performance, ranging from rap, to metal, to barbershop quartet.

The agent from the record company fires the other band members and gives Taz an ultimatum: Either he gets rid of Bugs, or his career ends. Taz choose Bugs, who he still hasn't recognized. The rabbit suggests Taz work on his act while 'she' comes up with an idea. Bugs' idea is to just get out but then he thinks of the lifestyle he'd be giving up and really starts thinking. A magazine gives him an idea and he, keeping his disguise, starts a career as a girl singer.

Stiff Upper Beak

Credits

Synopsis

Daffy pushes his way through a group of people in London and encounters a Buckingham Palace guard. Consulting his guide book he finds that such guards are not permitted to move during their shift. Not moving is taken so seriously that they must not smile. This is too much of a challenge for Daffy to pass up

Daffy starts right off with zaniness, bouncing around and yelling "Woohoo!" This is followed by his showing that his beak is removable yet functional. The tries a seltzer spray gag but misses himself and hits a policeman. This gets Daffy stuffed into the bottle, but does not get the desired smile.

The duck tries again, doing ever more strange acts, like dressing like a chicken and using a trampoline. A few moments later he unintentionally becomes a soccer ball. He tries juggling... explosives. Even an unintentional detonation doesn't faze the guard so the last resort, a tickling with a feather, is tried. All that happens is that the duck is taken away by a man in a white coat...

The guard's thoughts tell us that he was laughing, but only on the inside. Just then Foghorn Leghorn shows up and also decides he will get the guard to laugh. This is amusing, but not in the way he thinks.

Old Dawg, New Tricks

Credits

Synopsis

When Foghorn hear that the hens are going to have a birthday party for Dawg he suggests Dawg is getting rather old. Dawg points out that Foghorn is not so young himself. Dawg uses an early present, a hammock, to rest before the party. The rooster uses takes advantage of the nap to make the dog appear aged.

Using a horn to awaken Dawg, Foghorn sets about making his life harder, all in the name of helping, of course. This involves a powder treatment that results in stiff movement, an ironing, and inflation with an air pump. When the air hose is removed the overinflated Dawg flies about, landing in a wheelchair.

Foghorn wheels Dawg to his party and prepare the cake with a special candle. Dawg may have been given the works, but his wit is still quick and claims he is too weak to blow out the candle. Instead, he asks Foghorn to blow it for him as a final wish. Foghorn complies, only realizing too late he's about to be the victim of his own treachery. When asked, Dawg say that he did get his birthday wish.
