Tweety is perched on the cool outside cover part of a hot, open waffle iron which could easily be closed on Sylvester's tail. The bird wonders, "Tood I... ...or toodn't I?" as Sylvester looks around, the waffle iron behind him.

Synopsis

Narration introduces the story of how Sylvester and Tweety got their start, with snippets from various folks that knew them though their careers. Sylvester left home not as fortune seeker, but simply because he fell out a basket while trying to grab a cuckoo from a clock. As he wasn't any good at hunting, the cat turned to acting. Sylvester's luck on stage was as bad as his luck hunting birds and mice.

Tweety, however, started out fairly well. Granny brought him home and recognized the bird's talent. While Tweety had talent, he lacked size and couldn't be readily seen on the vaudeville stage. Teaming up with Sylvester for greater visibility, Tweety makes a good impression on audiences. Sylvester is annoyed as all fans seem to Tweety's.

After trying to get attention with a stolen catchphrase, and getting caught, Tweety bailed Sylvester out. Then the pair tried to figure out a catchphrase for the cat. Rejecting many, they discover the ideal line when Tweety drops an anvil on Sylvester's foot while making a suggestion. Adding Granny into the team for Warner Bros. films cinched the success.

Sylvester and Tweety's success went got to them and they were caught up in their wealth, losing the humor of the act. Their off-screen antics became excessive and drove Warner Bros. to drop the pair. In order to pay the bills the team now appears in television commercials.

Stork Raving Taz

Credits

Synopsis

Just before 8:00 A.M. a stork arrives to punch in for work, but is run over by number of eager storks as the clock strikes the hour. The dispatcher tells him he's late when he manages to get up and punch in. The stork says that won't be problem as it's his last day before retirement. It doesn't look like it will be an easy last day as the only baby left to deliver is caged and the cage wrapped in chains and barbed wire. This doesn't faze the stork who sets off to make the delivery, only to have the baby - Taz - escape while in flight.

Below, Papa bear dreams of the day when Junyer will move out when Taz comes crashing in through the roof. Mama sees Taz as another baby and Junyer sees him as a little brother. All Papa sees is trouble and wants the newcomer gone, but gives in and allows Taz to stay when the other three all start crying loudly.

Papa Bear and Junyer take Taz out to try to teach him how to live. First, Junyer shows how to mark a trail by scratching a tree, but Taz buzzes right through the tree. The tree eventually falls on Papa Bear. Next Papa tries fishing for salmon, hoping for some peace, while Junyer tries to collect honey from a beehive. Junyer's clumsiness, Taz's appetite, and his violent nature come to together with angry bees and result in more pain for Papa and in Taz destroying a dam.

The stork shows up just after the resulting wall of water has destroyed the bears' house. He asks if anything landed in the area. Papa realizes the stork is to blame and threatens to tell of the mis-delivery. The stork and Papa reach an odd compromise, with Papa being flown somewhere by the stork.

Little Red Riding Monster

Credits

Synopsis

A mad scientist works on a plan to cross a rabbit with a basketball player, but lacks the needed rabbit. Since he needs a rabbit, he sends the monster Gossamer out to get one. Gossamer finds Bugs, and scares off Red Riding Hood when he does. When Bugs notices the monster, he quickly dresses in the riding hood that Red left behind in a panic and fast talks Gossamer into going to Grandma's house.

Just as Bugs finishes dealing with Gossamer, the wolf shows up. The rabbit directs him to the same Grandma's house, planning something for both the monster and the wolf. Bugs makes it to Grandma's place first, or at least next after the real Red does. Some more fast talk sends Grandma and Red out of the house while Bugs takes Grandma's place in bed.

Gossamer shows up and wordlessly fills the role of a phony Red Riding Hood as Bugs plays Grandma. The rabbit, however is the active one and drops an anvil on the monster's foot. Bugs also reveals the basket to be loaded with explosives, which blow up in Gossamer's face. While Gossamer recovers, Bugs deals with the wolf. The wolf isn't fooled by Bugs' suggestion of the story of the three bears and takes his place in bad, but the rabbit doesn't leave until he's added costume rabbit ears to the wolf and given him a basket of explosives. Gossamer recovers and, mistaking the wolf for Bugs, chases after him until both are blown skyward by the booming basket.
