It's the Hip Fab Fun cover. The four stars aren't stars this issue but decorative ornaments instead, their occupants, from top to bottom, are Taz, Sylvester Jr., Sylvester, and Tweety. Sprigs of holly decorate the cover outside the ornaments and main scene.
In the main scene Bugs is dressed as Santa Claus and sits in a loaded sleigh while Daffy is in harness and wears a cap with antlers. Daffy demands to know, "Where in the script does it say I'm the reindeer?!" Snow covers the landscape except for the patch of ground occupied by Daffy and the sleigh.
It's the day before Christmas and Bugs and Daffy are not having any luck getting customers for their chimney sweep business. The pair set off to visit Elmer Fudd, who has the one undecorated house in town. Before they can offer to sweep his chimney, Fudd denies Christmas is merry and slams the door in their faces. Daffy decides a free chimney cleaning would cheer Elmer up.
Bugs and Daffy prepare to clean the chimney but end up both falling down it. Elmer is startled and gleefully wonders if it's Santa. When Daffy asks why he acted like a Scrooge, Elmer replies that he didn't to send Santa his Christmas list. Daffy has a plan: He and Bugs will build a great roof display to attract Santa... and do it for a nice fee, of course.
The display, the only one in town with lasers, is ready in the evening. Daffy throws the switch and disaster strikes. Parts of the display, and parts of the house, go flying. Worse, one of the laser beams hits Santa's sleigh, and Santa, sleigh, and reindeer all come crashing to the ground. Bugs and Daffy help Santa into the house and would call a doctor but Santa doesn't want the publicity. He has a sore ankle, but he also has presents in need of delivery.
Bugs has a plan this time: He and Daffy will deliver the presents, Bugs in the sleigh, and Daffy leading the team of reindeer... While that's going on, Elmer has his chance to tell Santa what he wants for Christmas, and he has a quite a list, too. The reindeer seem a bit dubious of Daffy leading them, but when Daffy's "nose" lights up things are more acceptable.
Looking in on a few stops, we see Bugs, Daffy, and the reindeer deliver a mallet to Penelope, just in time to thwart Pepe and give Paris a good display of stars. A bucket of "fried nuggets" for Taz allows them to escape him. The load lighten as the night goes on. Cheeses are dropped for Speedy Gonzales and friends, but a piñata accident obscures Daffy's vision. Fortunately, that was the final delivery.
The landing is a bit fast and they crash in though a window that wasn't damaged by the display flying apart. The sudden stop frees Daffy from the piñata, and the arrival frees Santa from Elmer's lengthy list. Bugs inspects the sleigh and Daffy inspects the team of reindeer and all seems to be well. Santa is about to leave when he slips on the "nose" the duck tossed away. Injured again, Santa is still stuck with Elmer. And Elmer has this very realistic sleigh and reindeer display...
It's the day before Christmas and Sylvester is snooping, trying to find out what Junior got him for Christmas. Checking under the bed, he gets a mouse trap snapped on him. Although thinking Junior has the place booby-trapped, Sylvester gets caught again when checking the closet, and when checking a drawer. Even a kitchen pitcher has a trap in it, and so does a potted plant, a filing cabinet, and a heating duct, and Sylvester finds all the traps the hard way.
Christmas morning Junior does give Sylvester a gift. It's box full of mouse traps, to help him catch mice. Junior is surprised by his father's fainting when he tells him.
There are three one-page fillers.
