With the Earth hanging overhead on a barren spacescape, Marvin has just disintegrated Duck Dodgers. Dodger's cap and beak have yet to fall with the rest of the ash-like bits of him. The beak exclaims, "You're dethpiccable!"
Elmer Fudd is about to unpack and settle in to his cabin when a salesman knocks at the door. After further disturbing and startling Elmer, he makes his sale of a wilderness survival guidebook and is on his way. Taking the book's advice Elmer leaves to get traps and other supplies.
Maw, Paw, and Junyer Bear happen across the cabin in their travels and go in, though Paw enters the cabin in a more painful way than the other two bears due to Junyer's eagerness. Once inside Junyer manages to make a destructive pest of himself, often at Paw's expense. A pot of porridge, two chairs, and a couch are in Junyer's wake, as well as a very pained Paw Bear. Maw suggests a nap and they all agree to rest before leaving.
Upon his return, Elmer sees the spilled porridge and destroyed furniture. He climbs the stairs to check the rest of the cabin and find the bears in his bed. Elmer and the bears startle each other, resulting in the traps flying... and clamping onto the bears, who run away screaming in pain. Elmer remarks on the book's advice working and the salesman leans into the final panel seemingly surprised himself by that.
A panel tells of Elmer, Bugs, and Daffy going into the woods to film "Hunting Season" and not being heard from again. Footage found a year later makes up the next four panels, which don't seem to make very much sense. The final panel is a movie promotion for "The Wabbit Season Pwoject."
Tweety, flying about the house, finds Granny has just waxed the kitchen floor and gets Sylvester to notice him, warning the cat that he'll fall if he gives chase. Naturally the cat does chase the bird and does fall. Sylvester gets another prediction about his influence over the television set and Tweety uses a remote control so it comes true.
Sylvester realizes Tweety's predictions come true and Tweety predicts a 'crimson curse' for the cat if Sylvester ever chases him again. Sylvester refuses to believe it, at least until it happens. And again Tweety made it happen, this time with red paint. Now Sylvester is ready to believe anything and the bird takes advantage of that by telling him he'll see his future self in the mirror. On the mirror is taped a picture of a furless, toothless cat.
As Sylvester seeks a way to undo the curse, Granny returns and demands to know who spilled her paint. Suddenly the cat realizes he's been had and sees the picture for what it really is and resumes the chase, making a prediction of his own. Granny remarks that it doesn't take a psychic to predict that Sylvester will chase Tweety.
Marvin has yet to conquer the Earth and so decides to observe earthlings by living as one. At the same time, Foghorn is again diverting Henery Hawk's attention away from himself. After that, Foghorn discovers Miss Prissy has a rich uncle and so decides to court her for her money.
Marvin, leaving K-9 behind, rockets to Earth and chooses a disguise upon his hard landing in a certain farmyard. Foghorn's courtship is interrupted by a a knock at the door and when Miss Prissy answers she finds Marvin, in a basket as if an infant, waiting at her door. The last thing the rooster wants is the distraction of a child while he's working his way into the hen's heart, and hopefully purse.
Foghorn suggests the child needs a father and takes Marvin outside to teach him pastimes. Ever impatient, Marvin applies his disintegrator until Foghorn snatches it away. Marvin then tries to raise an army of instant Martians but timing is against him. Henery Hawk returns, wanting chickens and not machinery like Foghorn had tricked him into trying to eat. Henery sees the Martians and Foghorn agrees that they are chickens. Marvin's army is taken out by a single hungry chicken hawk.
Without his disintegrating ray and army, Marvin realizes he can't do much and quickly rockets away. With Marvin gone, attention returns to Miss Prissy and the parcel. The parcel isn't money as Foghorn daydreams, but of Faberge eggs which Miss Prissy remarks would look good in their new house after marriage, and her mother would like them. This idea sends Foghorn running, and yelling into the sky for Marvin to take him along.
