A smitten Marvin, surrounded by valentine hearts and holding flowers behind his back, stands next to a gumball machine and exclaims, "I think I'm in love!"
Bugs awakens to find an escalator near his hole. The rabbit rides the escalator up, thinking it part of a new mall. When he arrives at the top, what he thinks is a movie theater turns out to be a spaceship - which he accidentally launches. When Bugs tries to reverse course, things get worse as he activates a self-destruct system.
Narrowly escaping the explosion, Bugs hopes to make his way back to Earth when he runs into another spaceship. He winds up on Marvin's ship, mistaken for the Supreme Commander, as he's covered with lint from his entry through the ship's laundry lint port. Marvin explains how they'll be mining a comet and disposing of the unwanted parts by flinging them into a certain blue planet.
Bugs realizes what that means and fast talks his way to controls, where he declares them deficient and in need of adjustment - away from the comet. Just then Marvin notices Bugs' tail and zaps away his lint camouflage. Bugs flees to another level of the ship and Marvin follows, but doesn't manage to be on the same level with Bugs for a while. When he does catch up, the rabbit is using anti-gravity boots to stand on the ceiling. Marvin has anti-gravity boots, too, but Bugs unties them.
After another chase, Bugs is cornered. He seems to surrender, but tricks Marvin into over-accelerating the ship. Bugs uses the only escape pod as Marvin's ship crashes into the comet, leaving Marvin and K-9 marooned.
An artistic Wile E. Coyote, complete with cap and palette, paints a tunnel on a board he has set up on a road. Road Runner appears behind the coyote and paints a pair of yellow disks in the tunnel. As Wile E. turns to grab the bird, the disks become headlights of a truck that emerges from the tunnel and runs over the coyote.
Foghorn Leghorn berates Egghead Jr. for not oprning the henhouse door for a girl. While Foghorn makes a comment about Egghead's lack of sense, the boy uses a remote control to open the door. The door opens drawbridge style and clobbers the bigmouthed rooster.
With a girl watching, Egghead Jr. heats a test tube. Foghorn interrupts, telling Egghead he should help things by using some aftershave and tries some the the liquid Egghead has heated. Foghorn predicts a stampede and gets one. But it's not the hens he was expecting, but a stampede of cows taken with the scent.
Foghorn is again promoting romance between Egghead Jr. and a girl, this time with a box of candy. The big rooster seems rather insincere as he eats the last candy in the box. He, however, doubts that whatever Egghead is doing will be impressive. He soon learns otherwise as a test tube leaves Foghorn somewhat charred as it erupts with impressive fireworks.
Witch Hazel is cooking up a brew to summon Richard Gere, but is out of one of the ingredients: mouse tail. She hears some nibbling and din finds the mice Hubie and Bertie are eating at her gingerbread house. The witch takes the mice in and cages them while she makes on a tail removing potion.
Bertie manages to pull a wand into the cage, but Hubie hits him with it before he can try any magic. When Bertie wishes that hadn't happened, the wand glows and his wish comes true. Another wish later and the cage is gone. Next they bring Hazel down to their size, but before they can do anything, Bertie misunderstands a comment and gets them all in a mess.
Bertie then wishes he hadn't said anything and suddenly the mice are back in the cage again. Witch Hazel does get their tails, but still can't finish her brew. It seems that she's all out of another ingredient, too.
It's the Accolade Awards and Sylvester has been nominated for Best Performance by a Non-Human in a Chase Scene. Tweety has been nominated for the same award, and it's the bird that gets the attention from the press. Worse, Sylvester isn't being let into the awards by the doorman, Crusher. After getting the boot a few times, he dons a bad rabbit costume and gets in claiming to be Bugs Bunny.
A waiter suggests a meal of fish for Sylvester, but the fish is so fresh it kisses the cat. Instead, Sylvester asks for a tweety bird on rye, but that is not being served. The cat decides to help himself and grabs Tweety, only to be clobbered by Granny. Sylvester tries a waiter disguise and tells Tweety he has a call in order to get the bird into a microwave oven. A real waiter shows up with a call for the cat and Tweety makes his escape as the fresh fish emerges from the phone to kiss Sylvester again. Sylvester does get Tweety trapped in his mouth by disguising it as the entrance to the little birdy's room.
When the award is about to be presented, Daffy interrupts as he thinks he has won. Bugs, the presenter, shows him that Sylvester is the winner. As the cat walks up to accept, Daffy pounds on a background which falls over, crushing Sylvester and causing him to release Tweety from his mouth. Since Sylvester can't accept, Bugs presents the award to Tweety.
