A miffed Daffy Duck in a Bugs Bunny suit and wearing sticks for antlers has his head through a board as if he were a hunting trophy. The real Bugs, wearing a bowtie and straw hat, barks, carnival style, "Step right up and get your very own jackalope! Satisfaction guaranteed!" while holding up the supposed trophy for all to see.
Host Ann Teek welcomes us and guest Elmer Fudd to the Unbelievable Collections! TV show. She's not all that interested as Fudd shows off his collection of mounted jackalope heads, which look like rabbits with antlers. Elmer claims to have every variety of Jackalope except for the "dotty jackalope" which is gray with a spotted tail. He's so keen to complete his collection he offers a million dollar bounty for a dotty jackalope.
Meanwhile, Daffy Duck is watching the show. The only problem is that he's settled into an electronics store where is he isn't welcome. As the duck is ejected, he hears Elmer offer his bounty and starts scheming. Seeing Bugs hanging his carrots to dry, he offers to help and immediately mangles one of the carrots. The duck claims he can fix the carrot with a bit of glue and talks his way down into the rabbit hole.
Down in Bugs' hole in the ground, Daffy claims the place needs paint and mixes up his version of spotted paint with which he starts to to paint the walls, and he just happens to get some on Bugs' tail. The duck is a bit more blatant when he glues a pair of branches onto the rabbit's head. Daffy tries to get Bugs out of his hole, but the rabbit would rather just saw the branches off. Daffy is about to start sawing when he realizes that would cut him off from the million dollars.
The duck drags Bugs to the TV station, claiming it's a hospital. Inside, Bugs simply pulls the branches off of his head, to Daffy's surprise. The glue was just molasses, but Bugs now uses the real glue to attach the branches to Daffy's head. When Elmer sees Bugs and Daffy, he first offers the money to Bugs for bringing him the incredibly rare duckalope. Daffy points out Bugs' spotted tail and Fudd proclaims Bugs to be the even rarer antlerless dotty jackalope. Both Bugs and Daffy end up mounted, though alive, as part of Fudd's collection.
Narration boxes start to tell about a meadow where a sheepdog hired a shepherd boy to help him and they mention that there is always a villain. Ralph shows up just then, but it's the boy who stuffs a sheep under his shirt and then yells, "Wolf!" The yell gets Sam Sheepdog's attention and Ralph gets kicked some distance.
Later Ralph sees the boy herding sheep into a cave. The boy suggests a deal, to which Ralph agrees, but the boy is just setting him up as he again yells, "Wolf!" Once more, Sam clobbers Ralph. When the wolf sees the shepherd loading the sheep onto a truck, he yells, "Boy!" and Sam shows up. The suspicious sheepdog pulls the mask off of the boy to reveal Pete Puma. Ralph doesn't get a break, as Sam clobbers him and Pete together - at least until quitting time.
Little Chicken, Miss Prissy, runs around in a panic and when the narrator asks what's wrong she yells that the sky is falling. Little Chicken's running and clucking disturbs Dawg, who figures she just had a bad dream. Foghorn overhears the doubting dog and sets him up to get hit first by a jack-o-lantern and then by an anvil.
Egghead Jr. gets Foghorn's attention, but the rooster can't decipher Egghead's notes. As Foghorn goes on about stupid Egghead is, a fireball comes streaking out of the sky. It's a satellite that has re-entered the atmosphere and it crashes right on the bombastic rooster.
Porky and Petunia find what appears to be a tin of ham as they walk through the woods. Instead of ham, Petunia finds a little stuffed toy pig when she opens the tin. Porky and Petunia celebrate the discovery by dancing, unconcerned about any wolves. Their celebration stops when they hear Charlie Dog, a real cause for concern.
After dealing with paperwork, the pigs have three houses. The first is made of cotton batting, since the littlest pig is stuffed with it. When Charlie isn't let in, he plans to huff and puff, but ends up blowing it down when the batting makes him sneeze.
The second house is brick, as Porky claims to be a smarter pig than the one in the original story. Charlie barges in, slamming the door into the wall. The walls all collapse, since Porky was not smart enough to use mortar.
The third house is Petunia's, and she's doesn't take any chances. Her house is made of reinforced concrete, steel, and titanium. Charlie can't get in. Petunia comes up with an idea that gives Charlie what he wants, and keeps him away from her and Porky. The house of cotton batting is rebuilt, with Charlie staying there along with the stuffed toy pig as his master. The only one not to like the arrangement is the toy, who is pained even with a head of cotton batting.
Bugs Bunny declares to Lola that despite losing races to Cecil Turtle, he won't lose the next race. He can't lose, since he's having Lola run instead. That way, Bugs can keep an eye on Cecil. The race starts and Lola is off like a shot, and Cecil makes a phone call to a cousin. Bugs puts a stop to the call, and also confiscates a jet engine. The engine blows up when Bugs tries to use it. As he and Cecil talk, Lola crosses the finish line.
Lola then shows up, apologizing to Bugs for being late. She had problems getting through a toll booth run by a disguised turtle. The winner of the race removes his Lola suit, revealing himself to be the real Cecil Turtle, and the other turtle as his cousin.
