It's a festive Hip Fab Fun cover with party hats, balloons, confetti, and streamers surrounding the stars. The four stars, top to bottom, are occupied by Daffy Duck, Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd, and Sylvester. All but Bugs wear party hats.
Taz asks "Why birthday present tick?" with the ticking present before him. In the background there are tables with lemonade and cookies. Streamers, confetti, and noisemakers are scattered on the floor. A banner reading "Happy Birthday Taz" hangs above.
The Hotel Extempore is the setting for Bugs' introduction of Taz to his birthday party. Taz spins in, knocking Bugs over and then eating his microphone. Claiming his status as birthday boy, Taz says he can't have tricks played on him for that reason. To show he means well, Bugs has Pepe wheel in a birthday present: wild turkey surprise. The dish is devoured just before it detonates.
Bugs asks Taz if he remembers when they first met and even recreates some of the events resulting from their initial encounter. Next the rabbit introduces Daffy, who is first only heard over a speaker. Daffy offers a banana which gets munched quickly rather than savored. This upsets Daffy who gets irate, then nearly eaten.
Since Taz is hungry, Bugs' suggests a couple dishes. Taz declines these ideas since he remembers what they turned out to be. As he can't feed the Tasmanian Devil, Bug's introduces him to another voice from his past. The voice belongs to another Tasmanian Devil. The pair get along instantly, as they had before. The female devil, wearing a wedding gown, offers a birthday cake, but won't let Taz eat it until she adds the final ingredient: bunny flavoring.
Bugs dashes off, pursued by the whirling she-devil. The party guests are left staring at Taz. When he notices, they all dive for cover. Taz eats the cake but is still hungry. The final page of the story has Taz whirling and zooming back and forth across it, eating everything in sight...
